Green and Eco-friendly Campus Certification

Overview

We offer Green and Eco-Friendly Campus Certification to recognize institutions’ efforts that prioritise Green practices, Eco-friendly practices, Student health and environmental well-being, sustainability and environmental responsibility in their operations and infrastructure.

Evaluation Parameters

Green Campus Certification is awarded in two levels: Silver Level and Gold Level. 

This classification is done to ensure fair assessment of colleges and award their efforts given their size and resources.

A) Silver Level – For institutes with students less than 1000

The institute will be assessed on the following parameters:

i) Scope 2 GHG emissions and Carbon Footprint

ii) Indoor well-being, health and hygiene

iii) Water Management & Conservation

iv) Waste Management

v) Green Cover

vi) Community Engagement & Awareness

B) Gold Level – For institutes with students of more than 1000

The institute will be assessed on the following parameters:

i) Scope 1,2,3 GHG emissions and Carbon Footprint

ii) Indoor well-being, health and hygiene

iii) Water Management & Conservation

iv) Waste Management

v) Sustainable Transportation

vi) Green Cover & Landscaping

vii) Community Engagement & Awareness
